How Akufo Addo and Ken Ofori - Atta fathers rejected Dr. Hilla Limann's budget.

This reminds me of one very popular quote.
"The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones."

Well, In 1976  Dr. Hilla Limann's Third Republic, The movement for the dismissal of the budget was moved by Jones Amoako Atta Ofori-Atta, (the dad of the current Finance Minister-Ken Ofori-Atta), who was then the Ranking Member on the Finance Committee.

During the discussion on the spending plan, Jones Amoako Atta Ofori-Atta moved a movement saying, "That the House observes the monetary Policy Statement and second thoughts that it neglects to manage the principal and earnest financial issues of the country".

Jones Amoako Atta Ofori-Atta, who was the then Member of Parliament for Begoro Constituency, added that, "The House thusly approaches Government to find prompt and practical ways to handle these squeezing issues. These are the irregular characteristics in government accounts, deplorable difficulties looked by standard Ghanaians, and the low degree of cocoa maker cost".

At the point when the vote was directed, on the movement moved by Dr Jones Ofori-Atta, it worked out that, the outcome was 54 votes to 51,  the budget was dismissed by parliament.

Karma is real.😂

Today the the baby elephants are busy shouting on social media but what they don't know is their own party started it.

This is Ken ofori Atta's father
